My name is Brian Garraty. I am an IT professional with over 12 years of experience. I spent my first seven years primarily as a C++/Visual Basic developer working on Windows and web applications. I have spent the past five as a SQL Server Database Administrator for a large public school district. I am an MCITP: Database Administrator in SQL Server 2005.
This blog is where I share lessons learned, vent frustrations, and document experiences with the technologies that I work with. I work primarily with the SQL Server database platform, but also dabble in SharePoint and .NET.
The name of the blog is a play on an old, bad joke my dad tells. The joke is that I should name one of my sons “Vul”.
